The second KL International Trade Forum 2008 (KLITF 2008) with the theme “Optimising Global Opportunities” is set to be held on November 13, 2008 at MATRADE Hall, MECC Menara MATRADE, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Building on the success of the first KLITF held the year before, KLITF 2008 will feature international speakers who will explore subjects beyond the focus of last year’s theme of “Unlocking Global Business Potentials.”

KLITF 2008 is held in conjunction with INTRADE MALAYSIA, an international trade fair showcasing a wide range of products and services from around the world. KLITF’s annual trade forum is a half-day event which is specially tailored for international and Malaysian exhibitors, buyers and visitors. KLITF speakers adopt a non-formal and relaxed style of presentation that encourages interaction with the audience, by sharing their actual experiences in growing their businesses internationally. Feedback from previous participants of the forum firmly endorses the event as a relevant and informative platform for exporters and importers globally.

Last year, KLITF attracted 800 participants out of which 25 percent were foreigners. In 2008, KLITF will again feature real life lessons, this time delving into facets of supply chain management, nurturing a construction and building materials outfit beyond set boundaries, venturing into unchartered territories and taking chances, as well as injecting new life into an old-time classic business operation.
